taking it all in

From a recent Fathers and Sons campout a couple of weekends ago.
And no, this is not one shot, straight out of camera. This is a composite of two shots combined in Photoshop. One is a well-exposed image of the sky as it was at the time (which had everything in the foreground completely silhouetted), and one was a well-exposed shot of the tent, grass, and me (which had the sky completely blown out). Put the two together and this is what you get.
If anyone needs a run-down of how to do this, let me know and I’ll put one together.
And yes, I’m not very good with my layer masks, but I’m getting there.
