Outside the Cracker Barrel restaurant (and country store) in Junction City there is a line of rocking chairs for sale. There are also a couple of large checker boards with large checkers. We took 2 minutes and taught the kids how to play checkers and let them go at it. With very little coaching (on either side), our son gave his older sister a real whooping.
You can tell by his cheeks how much he enjoyed it.
And you can’t tell from her face how much she enjoyed it, too.
