and so the heat of summer fades
the calm before the storm
A storm blew through town this weekend. Friday evening after work, my family met me in Manhattan for a little Wal-Mart shopping. After we had finished, we took one car to go eat and then came back for my car. As my wife drove off in a panic, trying to get home before Twitches Too started, I finally looked up. I had to call later to explain that I would be home late with the Dairy Queen treats.
