That’s right: New York City. I’m in town for the TESOL conference and it’s been a blast so far. I can’t believe how many past colleagues, teachers, mentors, and friends that I’ve run into (or planned to run into by attending their presentations). It’s almost surreal.

Of course, after a hard day of sitting in one chair after another, I split the conference at 5 to take in a bit of the city. Stopped by the Rockefeller Center to take a picture or two and decided to turn the camera on myself a bit. The reflection of the Rockefeller Center Tower, known as 30 Rock, in the plaque was entirely unintentional but entirely cool.

  1. Dude, how awesome! I’ve always dreamed of visiting NYC, but you beat me to it ๐Ÿ™‚ Have fun and enjoy your trip!!!

  2. thanks, kyle! nyc was really a blast…lots of lots of stuff to see and do and i barely scratched the surface. heck, i didn’t even go to central park! i walked by it, took pictures of it, but never actually entered it–i was in too much of a hurry to get somewhere else! so, never fear–there’s loads of things for you to do first while you’re there. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Nice, you’ve mastered the art of self-photography.

  4. mastered? thanks, brian, but i don’t think i’ve hardly come close. =]
