We did a number of different poses for her because she wasn’t too happy with anything we got at first (her mom later loved them), but this one both she and I just loved.

  1. Whenever the teenage moments occur now – moodiness, hating her mother, hearing how “bored to death” she is and such, I will return to this photo – which captures my first-born EXACTLY as she truly is, beneath her tough exterior. I’m SO happy to share this with the virtual world. I’m truly blessed to have such an amazing daughter and thank you for capturing this moment in time for us!! 🙂

  2. you’re so very welcome. it was a lot of fun for me to see the tough exterior slowly melt away as we were shooting, too.
